Privacy Policy

Last Next helps basketball players find courts and organize pickup games. This policy explains the information we handle and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Account information: email address and authentication information, handled by Clerk.
- Player profile: username, optional profile photo, basketball experience, home court, and skill ratings.
- App activity: games you create, game RSVPs, favorite courts, court photos, photo reports, and notification tokens.
- Location: with your permission, precise location is used to show nearby courts and games. If you enable nearby court alerts, the selected area center and radius are saved until you turn those alerts off or delete your account; Last Next does not continuously track your location. A court location is also saved when you add a court or create related content.
How we use information
We use this information to operate authentication, player profiles, maps, pickup games, sharing, safety reports, and optional notifications; maintain security; and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers and visibility
Clerk provides authentication, Convex provides database and file hosting, Expo supports builds and push-notification delivery, and Apple and Google provide platform, authentication, store, and map services. Public player-card details, games, check-ins, approved submitted courts, and approved photos may be visible to other signed-in players as part of the service.
Retention and deletion
We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security and legal obligations. You can permanently delete your account in the app from Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. Deletion removes your authentication account and associated Last Next profile data; contributed court locations may remain as community resources without your account identifier. Safety reports may be retained in de-identified form so moderation evidence is not destroyed. A minimal account identifier record is retained for security to prevent previously issued sessions from restoring deleted data.
Your choices
You can decline location, camera, photo-library, or notification access in iOS or Android Settings. Some related features will then be unavailable. You can update profile information in the app, report content or players, and block other players.
Children
Last Next is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
